IT never dies, it just gets jammed in a new type of interface.

After reading this quote from Michael Coté post, the visual of tribesman from the developer clan attempting to maintain and “upgrade” the giant IT god by giving it a new face jumped into my head.

“Bring me a new face.  Let it have vectors, drop shadows and glass effects.  Only this will appease me and I shall not crash.”
