An introduction to MVVM in WPF with Karl Shifflett

January 19, 2009

MVVM, a WPF UI Design Pattern, has become a hot topic in the world of WPF development.  The pattern was originally introduced by John Gossman and was tailored towards modern UI development platforms.  The goal being to separate the design of the application from the data and the functionality, while supporting multiple development languages (e.g. C#/XAML) and taking full advantage of rich databinding.

Karl Shifflett has recently jumped headfirst into MVVM and stopped by the studio to provide an introduction to the Pattern, explain benefits gained and to walk us through a simple demo application based on MVVM.

Additionally, Karl announces a training event on January 31st covering MVVM and Business application development with WPF.
